Nations’ Fest

Our school will celebrate Erasmus Days with a special event called “Nations’ Fest.” Each class will represent a different country.

At the beginning of the event, students will listen to the national anthem of their assigned country. Then, they will watch a short introductory video about the country and listen to a song by a famous singer from that country.

Each classroom will be decorated with visuals related to the represented country. The country’s flag and name will be displayed on the classroom door. Students will also be encouraged to wear clothes in the colours of their country’s flag.

Classroom walls will feature words and expressions from the country’s language together with their English meanings, creating an authentic language-learning environment.

Students who have previously visited the represented country will be encouraged to bring objects, souvenirs or cultural items related to their experience and share them with their classmates.

In each class, two students will give a short presentation to their classmates about the represented country, including its culture, traditions, language and interesting facts.

Through this activity, students will have the opportunity to discover different countries and cultures, experience different languages, increase their cultural awareness and develop a sense of global citizenship.
