MAPPING EUROPE TOGETHER, from personal experiences to a shared European cultural map

The event is organised within the Erasmus+ project Mapping European Identity through Cultural Narratives (E-CULTMAP), Project No. 2025-1-IE01-KA210-ADU-000360286.
Building on the participatory activities already carried out with adult participants, the event will present and further explore how people perceive Europe through their everyday experiences.
Participants will work with the E-CULTMAP reference cards on Democracy, Human Rights, Equality, Solidarity and Elections. Starting from simple questions and real-life situations, they will be invited to discuss what makes them feel included in Europe, which European values they recognise in their daily lives and which barriers they still experience.
The activity will conclude with the creation of a shared cultural map, where participants can contribute a word, place, value or experience that represents Europe to them.
The event combines project dissemination with a participatory non-formal education activity and contributes to the development of the E-CULTMAP methodology for adult education.
