Little Erasmus+ Explorers – Mission for a Green and Digital Future!

As part of Erasmus Days 2026, our kindergarten will organise an interactive educational event entitled “Little Erasmus+ Explorers – Mission for a Green and Digital Future!”, inspired by our Erasmus+ project “Educăm pentru un viitor verde și digital” (“Educating for a Green and Digital Future”), completed on 31 August 2026.
The event aims to disseminate and promote the results of our completed Erasmus+ project and demonstrate how the knowledge, skills and good practices acquired during European mobilities can be integrated into early childhood education.
Our project included two teacher training courses, one focusing on environmental education and the other on digital education, as well as a job-shadowing mobility related to ecological education.
During the event, preschool children will become “Little Erasmus+ Explorers” and participate in three interactive learning stations:
The Green Laboratory – Children will explore environmental responsibility through planting seeds, reusing materials and discovering simple ways to protect nature.
Digital Mission for the Planet – Children will engage in age-appropriate digital and unplugged coding activities, solving environmental challenges through logical thinking, creativity and teamwork.
Building Tomorrow Together – Children will use reusable and recyclable materials to create a collaborative model of a green kindergarten, developing imagination, cooperation and problem-solving skills.
An exhibition presenting photographs, educational resources and experiences from our Erasmus+ mobilities will highlight the impact of European professional development on teaching practices.
The event supports the Erasmus Days 2026 theme, “Learning and growing: skills for tomorrow”, by promoting environmental awareness, digital literacy, creativity, collaboration and responsible citizenship from an early age.
Through this initiative, we aim to ensure the sustainability of our Erasmus+ project results, share good educational practices and inspire our kindergarten community to continue building a greener, more inclusive and digitally competent future.
