Learning by Moving

The “Learning by Moving” Mathematical Challenge will take place throughout the European School of Brussel I (Uccle) and II (Woluwe) \during the week of 12–16 October. Students from S1 to S7 will be invited to solve a series of mathematical and logical challenges displayed at 5 different locations around the school, encouraging them to move from one location to another as they work through the challenges. The challenges will be self-guided and available in both English and French. Students could participate individually or with friends (teams of 3), work through the problems at their own pace, and those who return their completed solutions will receive a small participation gift. The activity combines movement, problem-solving and mathematical thinking, putting our “Learning by Moving” approach into practice in a simple and engaging way.
