Learning Across Borders: Strengthening Public Oversight Institutions through Erasmus+ Opportunities

The National Audit Office of Malta (NAO) is proposing to host an information session for local oversight bodies as part of Erasmus Days 2026. The session aims to raise awareness among relevant stakeholders of the opportunities offered by Erasmus+, particularly as a means of strengthening institutional capacity, supporting the professional development of staff and facilitating the exchange of knowledge and good practices with counterpart institutions across the European Union. The session will also showcase the National Audit Office of Malta’s Erasmus+ project, Digital Transformation and Public Engagement: Strengthening NAO Malta through European Mobility (2026-1-MT01-KA122-VET-000435914 – NAO). Participants who have completed their job-shadowing placements will be invited to share their experiences and key learning outcomes from their own perspective, highlighting the practical value of European mobility and cross-institutional learning.
