Karpaty moravské a slovenské

The travel lecture “Karpaty moravské a slovenské” will introduce the natural landscapes, cultural heritage and changing character of the Moravian and Slovak Carpathians. The event is linked to the Erasmus+ project “Karpaty v proměnách času” (Carpathians in the Changes of Time), in which students from Gymnázium Františka Palackého Valašské Meziříčí and its partner school Gymnázium Hlinská in Žilina explore the Carpathians as a shared natural, cultural and historical region.

The lecture will also present experiences, impressions and stories from the project activities and will share them with the visitors of the event. In this way, the audience will get an insight into the joint work of Czech and Slovak students and teachers, the places they visited and the activities they carried out during the project.

The lecture will take place in the school auditorium and is open to students, teachers and the general public. It will also be part of the celebrations of the 155th anniversary of Gymnázium Františka Palackého Valašské Meziříčí, organised under the title “Palacký Street Party”.
