Journées de la mobilité internationale

From the 8th to the 23rd of October, Universié Lumière Lyon 2 organizes its “Journées de la mobilité internationale”.
These events aim to raise student awareness of international mobility, its impacts on individuals, and provide information on study and internship mobility abroad.
These “journées” start on the 8th of October with the Forum of the international office where students will have the opportunity to meet the staff members of the international office in charge of student mobility, academic members responsible for exchange programmes. Students currently on exchange at Lyon 2 will be there to introduce their home institutions, and students who have already been abroad for a mobility period will share their experiences. Visitors will find on several booths information such as “Going Abroad – Europe” (Erasmus+ and bilateral European programmes), a booth on our European Alliance BAUHAUS4EU, booths by Faculty and by geographic regions, booth on language preparation, booth on the Lyon 2 cultural and social integration programme. Presentations on funding for mobility will also take place throughout the day. Two exhibitions will be set up: one on testimonies from previous outgoing students and another on sustainable mobility.

Until the 23rd of October, additional information sessions will be organized by faculty and by geographical region.These sessions will help students find out about mobility programmes in their field of study and will provide them the information they need to apply for a mobility programme. A conference on Erasmus+ mobility for academic and administrative staff will be held as well as a conference on intercultural understanding and culture shock and another one on blended intensive programmes and the way to set them up properly.
