Innovative Support and Education for Parents of Children with Disabilities through Informal Advising

The workshop will introduce the international Erasmus+ project IPAR – Innovative Support and Education for Parents of Children with Disabilities through Informal Advising and its main results. Participants will become familiar with the Comprehensive Training Programme for informal advisors, Recommendations for Application Practice, and the Online Support Board.
The workshop will offer an interactive presentation of selected tools and methods from the training programme, complemented by examples of good practice from Slovakia and other European countries. It will also highlight practical ways to support parents of children with disabilities in balancing family and working life through active labour market measures.
The aim is to show how Erasmus+ project results can be effectively applied in practice to strengthen support for families and professionals working with parents of children with disabilities.
