IES POETA JULIAN ANDÚGAR
As part of the Erasmus Days celebration, you will take part in a fun activity to discover some typical Spanish idioms and their meanings. You will be shown a Spanish expression, together with its literal English translation. Then, you will see a question in English with three possible answers. Your task is to choose the correct context in which the Spanish idiom is normally used.
For example:
The Spanish expression **“Eso es pan comido”** (literally: *That’s eaten bread*) is used in which context?
A) When something is very easy to do.
B) When someone is very hungry.
C) When a person is being greedy with food.
This activity will help you compare languages, notice cultural differences, and have fun guessing the meaning behind Spanish phrases. Don’t worry if you don’t get all the answers right — the goal is to enjoy learning together!
