Co-Creating Change in Higher Education: The CUTIE Method for Action and Impact
A hands-on workshop to turn digital competence strategies into real institutional change.
This interactive workshop tackles a significant challenge in higher education: transitioning from strategy to meaningful, sustainable change in the development of digital competencies. Based on the findings from the CUTIE project, the session presents the CUTIE Method—a structured, practice-based approach for designing, implementing, and evaluating targeted actions that improve digital teaching competencies across institutions.

A key focus is co-creating with students. Participants will examine proven models and examples that demonstrate how student input can actively influence teaching methods, digital initiatives, and institutional development processes.

Participants will engage in short activities using the CUTIE Method, applying it to their own contexts and reflecting on how co-creation enhances ownership, relevance, and impact.
Participants will leave with practical tools and concrete approaches to support meaningful change at their institutions.
