CC ILLES COLUMBRETES
1. “Mini-Erasmus at School”
• Objective: To simulate an exchange without traveling.
• Each class group (5th and 6th grade) represents a European country (potential future Erasmus partners).
• During the week, they research gastronomy, music, curiosities, and basic phrases.
• They prepare a stand or a poster about their country.
• Final product: a cultural fair in the playground on Friday, with flags, music, and decorations.
3. “We Plough Europe” (photo exhibition)
• Objective: To create a collective mural.
• Each student brings a photo or drawing that represents what Europe means to him/her (food, trips, monuments, sports, symbols…). Marta will write a message from Ítaca to the families.
• A large mural is set up with the title “Our Erasmus Dream.”
• Final product: a permanent exhibition at the school, in our Erasmus Corner.
5. “Flavours of Europe”
• This will be on the 31st. Preschool already has an activity planned related to food, so I thought I might go to Lidl and buy pretzels, Frankfurt sausages, cardoons, and similar items, and place them on the stands at a separate table with the title of this activity.
• Objective: To travel through gastronomy without leaving school.
• Each class researches a typical dish from a European country, alongside the stand exhibition they have prepared.
• They create an illustrated recipe in English (poster board + drawings).
• Optional: it can be accompanied by simple tastings (without cooking at school, only bringing food).
• Final product: a recipe mural or even a small e-book with all the collected recipes.
