“If I Were an Erasmus Student…”

Students are given the following situation:

“Tomorrow, you are going to spend one month at a school in Spain/Italy/Finland. You do not know anyone and you do not speak the language.”

In groups, students discuss:

What would they be most afraid of?
What would make them excited?
How would they manage?
Who would they ask for help?
What would they present as something special about Croatia?

The activity ends with a discussion about stepping outside your comfort zone, fear of the unknown, and self-confidence.
