Human Library: Our Erasmus Stories and Experiences
Jakčeva ulica 42, Ljubljana, Slovenia
Karel Destovnik - Kajuh Primary School
As part of Erasmus Days 2026, pupils at Karel Destovnik – Kajuh Primary School will share their international experiences as our Erasmus ambassadors, the “Kajuh Explorers”.
Each day during the school’s active break, from 10:55 to 11:15, pupils who participated in Erasmus+ exchanges in Poland, Italy and Türkiye will become “living books” and share their stories in our reading corner. Through photographs, personal stories and informal conversations, they will introduce their partner schools and host countries, talk about host families, new friendships and memorable moments, and share what they have learned. They will also teach their peers a few words in Polish, Italian and Turkish.
The activities will also present our three Erasmus+ projects, focusing on topics such as digital learning, wellbeing, sustainability, environmental awareness and inclusion. Together, pupils will create a map of our mobility destinations and partner schools, while photographs and personal reflections will become part of a lasting Erasmus corner at our school.
Through the Human Library, we want to bring Erasmus+ closer to our whole school community and encourage curiosity, intercultural understanding, cooperation and openness to the world.
Our Human Library is an invitation to listen, share and discover Europe through the stories of our students — because every Erasmus experience has a story worth telling.
