How Inclusive Is Our University? – Student Voices for a More Inclusive Higher Education
Faculty of Education and Psychology
Głęboka 43, 20-612 Lublin, Poland
Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin
As part of Erasmus Days 2026, students at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, Poland, will take part in an interactive activity focused on inclusion, diversity and equity in higher education.
The event will engage students in reflecting on barriers that may limit full participation in university life for different groups of learners, including students with disabilities, international students, students with diverse educational needs, and those facing challenging life circumstances. Working in small groups, participants will identify key challenges and propose practical solutions that could make the university environment more accessible, welcoming and inclusive.
The activity will also introduce the Inclusive-Uni Erasmus+ project, which promotes more inclusive, equitable and student-centred higher education. The discussion will connect students’ ideas with the project’s aims and encourage reflection on how universities can better respond to diversity and support full participation for all.
The event aims to strengthen student voice, raise awareness of inclusion in higher education, and promote dialogue on accessibility, participation and inclusive university practices.
