Girls Can Shine: Reading Zvezda Slavica

As part of our activities promoting gender equality and girls’ empowerment, a public reading of the book Zvezda Slavica was organized for students. Through the inspiring story of Slavica, participants explored the importance of self-confidence, perseverance, curiosity, and believing in their own abilities.

The reading was followed by a discussion encouraging girls to express their dreams, ambitions, and interests, especially in fields where women are still underrepresented. Students reflected on positive role models and the message that every girl has the potential to shine and achieve her goals.

This activity aimed to foster a supportive environment where girls feel encouraged to develop their talents, pursue their interests, and believe in their capacity to make a difference in their communities and beyond.
