IIS DELLA VALDICHIANA
GeoErasmus is an educational activity organised as part of Erasmus Days and aimed at third-year lower secondary school students from Istituto Comprensivo Origo in Montepulciano.
During the activity, students from IIS Valdichiana who have personally taken part in Erasmus+ mobility experiences will meet the younger students and present their experiences abroad. They will explain what Erasmus+ is, what they did during their mobility, which countries and cities they visited, what they learnt and how the experience helped them grow both personally and academically.
The activity will be organised through different learning stations. At each station, the IIS Valdichiana students will guide the younger pupils through maps, images, short videos, quizzes and interactive tasks connected to the European destinations they visited.
In this way, GeoErasmus combines peer education, geography revision, language learning and European citizenship. The aim is not only to introduce students to the opportunities offered by Erasmus+, but also to make Europe more concrete and accessible through the direct stories of students who have already experienced international mobility.
