GAL Erasmus Day: The First, But Not the Last

Theme: Discover, Create, and Share the Spirit of Erasmus+
Our school is celebrating its first #ErasmusDays with a dynamic 5-station journey designed to engage students and educators in European values, digital skills, cultural diversity, and international mobility opportunities!
Station 1 – Erasmus+ Bookmarks
• Type: Artistic & Creative Crafting
• Description: Students design and craft personalized #ErasmusDays-themed bookmarks featuring European motifs, inspirational quotes, and core project values such as inclusion, sustainability, and unity.
Station 2 – Erasmus Dreams (Wishing Tree)
• Type: Collaborative Installation
• Description: A dedicated space where students write their international mobility goals, personal dreams, and reflections on custom cards, hanging them up to build our school’s Erasmus Wish Tree.
Station 3 – Cultural Karaoke
• Type: Musical & Performing Arts
• Description: An energetic musical station where participants explore European countries, languages, and traditions through songs and interactive cultural performances.
Station 4 – Erasmus Explorers (Board Game)
• Type: Interactive Cultural Board Game
• Description: Teams roll the dice to navigate across a large board map of Europe. To advance their pieces, students must answer challenge cards covering European landmarks, geography, traditions, and intercultural fun facts.
Station 5 – Erasmus Selfie Corner & Erasmus+ Digital Homework Follow-Up
• Type: Photo Experience & Web 2.0 Digital Take-home Quiz
• Description: Students strike a pose at our thematic Erasmus Photo Booth / Selfie Frame holding fun props to capture their event memories. Before leaving the station, every participant receives a printed “GAL Erasmus Day Passport Ticket”. This custom ticket contains a unique QR code allowing students to complete the official Erasmus Day High School Quiz (Google Form) at home as an interactive Web 2.0 digital activity.
Through hands-on interaction and shared learning, this event aims to broaden our participants’ horizons and plant the seeds for future international collaboration. Come and join us!
