From Waste to Future: Green Skills Compost Workshop

“From Waste to Future: Green Skills Compost Workshop” is a hands-on activity organized within the framework of ErasmusDays 2026 and its theme “Skills for the Future”. The event aims to raise environmental awareness among students and foster green skills and sustainable living practices.
During the workshop, students will learn about organic waste, waste separation, the composting process, and the role of compost in the natural cycle. Through active participation, they will experience how organic waste can be transformed into a valuable resource by creating their own compost.
The activity aims to develop key future-oriented skills such as environmental responsibility, problem-solving, collaboration, conscious consumption, and sustainable thinking. Students will also be encouraged to adopt environmentally friendly habits in their daily lives.
Aligned with the Erasmus+ priorities of environmental sustainability and green transition, the event will help students recognize their individual responsibility for building a more sustainable future and encourage them to turn environmental awareness into action.
