From Sicily with love

This activity is a creative workshop and an active memory laboratory dedicated to rediscovering and sharing the story of the most authentic Sicily. Through writing, curating, and reworking letters, the initiative aims to give voice to the deep soul of the island, transforming lived experiences, memories, and emotions into vivid narratives.
Each text becomes a fragment of Sicilian identity:
LANDSCAPE AND NATURE: The shades of light, the scent of orange blossoms, the contours of Mount Etna, and the breath of the sea.
GASTRONOMY: The gestures and culinary traditions that preserve the history and conviviality of the table.
CULTURE AND SOCIETY: The web of relationships, human warmth, myths, and literature that weave into daily life.
FAITH AND DEVOTION: The unique interplay between the sacred, folk festivals, ancient rites, and deep spirituality.
Through the workshop format, the letter transforms from simple correspondence into a guardian of identity: a polite meeting space where the written word celebrates the facets and uniqueness of an extraordinary land.
At the end of the program, the school will host a permanent exhibition to display all the works created, enriched by a typically Sicilian musical performance featuring traditional songs and dances.
