From Future Classroom To The Coast

As part of our Erasmus+ KA121 school education project, Cemil Meriç Ortaokulu (İzmir, Türkiye) celebrates #ErasmusDays by sharing our mobility experiences and future plans. Last year, our teachers took part in a job-shadowing activity in the Future Classroom Lab (FCL) of our partner school Escola Secundária Dom Manuel Martins in Setúbal, Portugal, and our students joined a group mobility to the same school, bringing new, student-centred learning experiences back home. Building on this experience, we are now planning a new Erasmus+ application with Setúbal that will take our cooperation from the classroom to the coast, with a group carrying out coastal observations focusing on marine ecosystems and the seagrass meadows that protect our seas. In addition, our English teacher will take part in a teaching assignment at FEDAC Sant Andreu in Barcelona, Spain. During the event, we will present these mobilities to our students, teachers and families and inspire them to take part in Erasmus+.
