French Film Screening: DEMAIN – Imagining a Sustainable Europe

As part of Erasmus Days 2026, Institut Candelera will organise a screening of the French documentary *Demain* (2015), directed by Cyril Dion and Mélanie Laurent.

The film explores concrete initiatives and possible solutions to some of the major environmental and social challenges facing our societies. Through examples from different countries, it addresses topics such as sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, responsible consumption, education, democracy and civic engagement.

The screening will be held in French, providing students with an opportunity to practise their language skills while reflecting on sustainability, European citizenship and the role of young people in building a more sustainable future.

The activity will be followed by a short discussion with students about the ideas presented in the film and their relevance to our local and European context.
