Experience Workshop

Within the scope of the Erasmus+ VET Accreditation, Short-Term Learning Mobility of VET Learners (22.06.2026–10.07.2026) and Staff Mobility for Job Shadowing (27.07.2026–31.07.2026) were successfully carried out in Castrop-Rauxel, Germany, in partnership with the İzmir Provincial Directorate of National Education and with the participation of our institution’s students and teachers.

Following these mobility activities, an “Experience Workshop” will be organized at our institution for 9th-grade students. As part of the workshop, participating students will conduct a hands-on culinary demonstration for newly enrolled 9th-grade Food and Beverage Services students, preparing “Schnitzel and Potato Salad”—dishes signature to German cuisine. Concurrently, teachers who participated in the Job Shadowing mobility will present the objectives of the Erasmus+ VET Programme, shared observations, cultural and methodological differences, and best practices to the 9th-grade students.

The workshop aims to allow participating students to reinforce their newly acquired competencies and contribute to dissemination activities alongside their teachers. For the attending 9th-grade students, the workshop intends to foster awareness of the Erasmus+ programme and European Union culture, while encouraging them to shape their own career goals by hearing first-hand experiences of international vocational internships from their peers and teachers.
