We will organize an exhibition entitled “Europe in One Place – Tastes, Cultures, and Stories of EU Countries”, designed to introduce students to the diversity of the European Union in an engaging and creative way.
Students will present the EU Member States, highlighting their distinctive features, cultural and natural landmarks, traditions, customs, languages, and other interesting facts. A special section of the exhibition will focus on traditional dishes and flavors from different countries, allowing participants to explore Europe’s cultural diversity through gastronomy as well.
Through this activity, we aim to promote intercultural exchange, openness, respect for diversity, and a sense of belonging to a shared European community. The event will also provide an opportunity to showcase the values and opportunities of the Erasmus+ Programme, which enables young people to learn, connect, and gain new experiences across borders.
The exhibition will be created through the collaboration of students and staff and will invite visitors on a symbolic journey across Europe, from country to country, from story to story, and from flavor to flavor.

Evropa na enem mestu – okusi, kulture in zgodbe držav EU
V okviru Erasmus Days 2026 bomo v Dijaškem domu Nova Gorica pripravili razstavo »Evropa na enem mestu – okusi, kulture in zgodbe držav EU«, s katero bomo dijakom na zanimiv in ustvarjalen način približali raznolikost Evropske unije.
Dijaki bodo predstavili države članice EU, njihove značilnosti, kulturne in naravne znamenitosti, tradicijo, običaje, jezike ter druge zanimivosti. Poseben del razstave bo namenjen tudi značilnim jedem in okusom posameznih držav, s čimer bomo evropsko kulturno raznolikost spoznavali tudi skozi kulinariko.
Z dejavnostjo želimo spodbujati medkulturno povezovanje, odprtost, spoštovanje različnosti in občutek pripadnosti skupnemu evropskemu prostoru. Dogodek bo hkrati priložnost za predstavitev vrednot in priložnosti programa Erasmus+, ki mladim omogoča učenje, povezovanje in pridobivanje novih izkušenj preko meja.
Razstava bo nastajala s sodelovanjem dijakov in zaposlenih ter bo obiskovalce povabila na simbolično potovanje po Evropi – od države do države, od zgodbe do zgodbe in od okusa do okusa.
