European Warm Drinks: Cultural Flavours & Hospitality Tasting Bar

Culture is not just seen or read about—it is also tasted and shared. To celebrate Europe’s rich diversity of hospitality traditions, students and teachers from our vocational hospitality high school (Özdere Tahir Çamur Tourism MTAL) are hosting a cozy European Hot Drinks Tasting Bar inside the Menderes Government House foyer.

Throughout the morning of October 14, culinary students will brew and serve three iconic warm recipes to event visitors: rich Spanish hot chocolate paired, spiced German hot apple tea with cinnamon sticks, and classic British tea with milk.

As guests sip their drinks, our students will share short stories about the culinary roots and hospitality customs behind each beverage. It is vocational education in action—giving our youth a real-world stage to practice their service skills while offering our local community a warm, welcoming taste of Europe.
