European Music & Dance – Around Europe

Our second-grade students will discover Europe through music, rhythm and movement in an enjoyable activity called “European Music & Dance”.
Students will listen to and explore music inspired by different European cultures. They will learn simple movements and rhythms and work together to prepare a short, child-friendly performance representing their journey around Europe.
During the activity, students will use simple English expressions such as “Let’s dance!”, “Let’s move!”, “Listen to the music!” and “Let’s work together!”
The activity aims to introduce young learners to European cultural diversity through music and movement while developing creativity, cooperation, confidence and communication skills.
As a final product, students will prepare a short “Around Europe” mini performance which can be presented during the school’s final Erasmus Days activities.
