EUROPE IS HERE! – Korczak on the Map of Europe
Event Overview
We are pleased to announce “EUROPE IS HERE! – Korczak on the Map of Europe,” an interactive educational festival designed to celebrate cultural diversity and foster international awareness within our school community.
For this initiative, each participating class has been assigned a specific European country or region. Moving beyond traditional poster presentations, students are tasked with designing dynamic, immersive exhibitions that offer a comprehensive cultural experience for all attendees.
Exhibition Components
Each designated classroom will be transformed into an interactive national pavilion featuring the following elements:
Musical Heritage: A curated selection of traditional and contemporary regional music. Culinary Tasting: Samples of authentic local cuisine and traditional snacks. Language Introduction: Brief lessons focusing on essential phrases and linguistic nuances. Cultural Trivia: Engaging facts, historical insights, and unique regional characteristics. Interactive Mini-Tasks: Thematic educational challenges designed to engage visitors. Digital Integration: Scannable QR codes linking to supplementary multimedia content. Traditional Activities: Demonstrations and active participation in regional games. Erasmus Mission: Informational segments highlighting our school’s involvement in Erasmus initiatives. Partner Showcase: Dedicated presentations introducing our international partner schools to the community.
Participant Engagement: The Event Passport
To encourage active exploration, all attendees will receive an official Event Passport upon entry. Visitors are encouraged to navigate through the various national exhibitions, participating in the mini-tasks and cultural activities to collect unique stamps for their passports.
The Grand Finale: Korczak European Challenge
The festival will culminate in the “Korczak European Challenge.” Attendees who have actively engaged with the exhibitions and collected the required stamps in their passports will be eligible to enter this final competition. The challenge will test the cultural and geographical knowledge gathered throughout the event, with the most successful participants receiving official recognition.
