Europe in 60 seconds

Erasmus+ Musical Challenge
Task: Students work in teams and each team receives a European country. In approximately 30–60 minutes, they have to create a mini musical performance presenting their assigned country.
Each team must include:
• a specific rhythm characteristic of the country;
• 2–3 interesting facts about the country’s musical culture;
• a creative element: a dance, short lyrics, simple costumes or body percussion.
At the end, each team has a maximum of 60 seconds for their performance.
The Erasmus Twist
After the presentations, play a European song together. Each team contributes one rhythm or musical motif, and together you create a European Music Mashup.
