“Europe Connects Us Through Languages”
Erasmus Days at Stanisław Staszic Vocational School Complex
Date: 12–17 October 2026
The Stanisław Staszic Vocational School Complex is joining the Erasmus Days 2026 celebrations by organising a series of events dedicated to Europe, student mobility, international work placements, international cooperation, foreign languages, literature and future skills.
Through this event, we want to show that Erasmus+ brings people, schools and countries together, while the experiences gained through international mobility help young people develop both professionally and personally.

The Stanisław Staszic Vocational School Complex is joining the celebrations of Erasmus Days 2026 by organising a series of events dedicated to Europe, student mobility, international work placements, international cooperation, foreign languages, literature and future skills.
The event aims to demonstrate that Erasmus+ connects people, schools and countries, while experiences gained through international mobility help young people develop both professionally and personally.
12 OCTOBER – “ERASMUS AT OUR SCHOOL”
1. Official opening of Erasmus Days.
2. Introduction to the Erasmus+ programme and #UnionOfSkills.
3. Presentation of Erasmus+ projects implemented by the school.
4. Presentation of student and teacher mobility experiences.
5. Presentation of international work placements.
6. “My Erasmus Story” – short personal stories from participants.
7. Opening of the “Europe at Our School” exhibition.
8. Exhibition of photographs, videos, certificates and souvenirs from mobility experiences.
9. Map of Europe – marking partner countries and mobility destinations.
10. Launch of the “Erasmus Passport”.
13 OCTOBER – “EUROPE SPEAKS MANY LANGUAGES”
1. Multilingual quiz – “European Language Challenge”.
2. Identifying languages from audio recordings.
3. Quiz about European flags and countries.
4. “Say It in European”.
5. Language stations: Polish, Czech, Ukrainian, German, English, Latvian, Turkish and Hungarian.
6. Learning basic expressions in eight languages.
7. Comparing similar words in different languages.
8. “What Language Is It?” – language game.
9. Collecting stamps in the Erasmus Passport.
10. Selection of the best language team.
14 OCTOBER – “READING EUROPE”
European Reading Day
1. Reading extracts from The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry in eight languages: Polish, Czech, Ukrainian, German, English, Latvian, Turkish and Hungarian.
2. “A Literary Journey Through Europe”.
3. Presentation of European authors and literary works:

◦ Jaroslav Hašek – The Good Soldier Švejk
◦ Taras Shevchenko – poetry
◦ The Brothers Grimm – fairy tales

15 OCTOBER – “ERASMUS – A JOURNEY THAT CONNECTS US”
1. “My Erasmus Story”.
2. Presentations by students who participated in mobility activities.
3. Presentation of international work placements.
4. “What Did I Learn During My Mobility Experience?”
5. “What Does International Mobility Give Young People?”
6. Erasmus English Café.
7. Conversations and language games in English.
8. Online meeting with project partners.
9. Presentation of partner schools and organisations.
10. Meeting and getting to know students from other countries.
11. “5 Minutes – 5 Languages” – short multilingual presentations.
12. Joint quiz with international partners.

16 OCTOBER – “FUTURE SKILLS”

ERASMUS PASSPORT – THROUGHOUT THE WEEK
1. Each participant receives their own Erasmus Passport.
2. Participants collect stamps for taking part in different activities.
3. Stamps represent:

◦ Latvia,
◦ Türkiye,
◦ Hungary,
◦ literature,
◦ mobility,
◦ project partners,

Students who complete the required number of tasks receive a Young European Certificate.
