EUPeace Day

**EUPeace Day at the University of Sarajevo** will take place on 12 October 2026 at the University Rectorate, bringing together students, academic and administrative staff, and university representatives to explore opportunities offered by the EUPeace European University Alliance. The event aims to increase awareness of EUPeace within the University of Sarajevo and encourage greater involvement of the university community in the Alliance’s activities. Through presentations and an interactive panel discussion with representatives involved in different EUPeace work packages, participants will learn about academic and staff mobility, the Virtual European Exchange Programme (VEEP), the European Track, student engagement opportunities, Research Hubs and Living Peace Labs. Particular attention will be given to **student participation, interdisciplinary cooperation and the integration of EUPeace opportunities into university activities**, including mobility windows, joint educational initiatives, student-led projects and research collaboration. The event will also provide an opportunity for open discussion, questions and exchange of ideas on how students and staff can become more actively involved in EUPeace and contribute to its mission of promoting peace, justice and inclusive societies through education, research and societal engagement.
