Erasmus+ Opens Horizons – Experiences, Opportunities and Partnerships

Colegiul Național Economic „Theodor Costescu” from Drobeta-Turnu Severin, Romania, celebrates #ErasmusDays 2026 through an interactive event entitled “Erasmus+ Opens Horizons – Experiences, Opportunities and Partnerships”, dedicated to sharing Erasmus+ VET mobility experiences, highlighting the impact of European educational projects and strengthening cooperation within the local community.

Students who participated in vocational training mobilities in Portugal will share their professional achievements, intercultural experiences and personal development stories. Through testimonials, photographs and interactive discussions, they will illustrate how Erasmus+ contributes to the development of professional, linguistic, digital, social and intercultural competences, as well as confidence, independence and adaptability.

The event will also highlight the school’s recognition as “European School 2026”, its achievements in European educational cooperation and its commitment to quality vocational education, inclusion and equal opportunities.

Representatives of the Mehedinți County School Inspectorate, non-governmental organizations and local educational partners will be invited to participate in an open dialogue on the impact of Erasmus+ projects, the benefits of international mobility and opportunities for future partnerships.

By bringing together students, teachers and community representatives, the event aims to inspire young people to explore European learning opportunities, promote European values and encourage active participation in international educational projects.

Together, we celebrate experiences that inspire, opportunities that transform and partnerships that open new horizons!
