Erasmus+ in Uniform: From Thessaloniki to Vienna

The event will present the experiences of students from the Secondary Vocational School of Healthcare and Economics in Dunajská Streda, who completed their professional training within the Erasmus+ programme in two European social and healthcare institutions – Diamantová strecha in Thessaloniki and SeneCura Residenz Oberdöbling in Vienna.
During their mobility, the students became familiar with the organisation of care for seniors and clients with health problems. They developed their professional skills, communication abilities, independence, teamwork and language competences. At the same time, they discovered the culture, working environment and everyday life in Greece and Austria.
The event will include a presentation of photos and experiences from the mobility, short talks by the participants, demonstrations of professional activities, a discussion with students and an inspiring noticeboard showing what Erasmus+ offers to young healthcare students. The aim of the event is to motivate other students to take part in international mobilities and to show that vocational education has a European dimension.
The event supports the idea of Erasmus Days 2026 – connecting schools, skills, cultures and people across Europe.
