A presentation about platic wastes and their harmful effects on the environment will be made. Solutions to reduce plastic wastes will be discussed.
Marine Plasticology Activity
Primary School (2nd-8th grade) studens will recognise how human activity interferes with the ocean (pollution, changes in coastal areas and rivers, etc.). They are expected to understand what marine plasticology is; explain the importance of the ocean for all; explain how plastic enters the marine environment and the consequences of this invasion; infer the type of rubbish existing on beaches; understand the notion of oceanic gyre; infer the way plastics (micro, nano) enter the food chain.
Project Song “Leave Nothing Behind”
Students will learn the lyrics of the project song and also how to sing the song.
