Celebrating Erasmus Days Through Dance
As part of our Erasmus Days celebration, our school is preparing a special cultural experience: an International Dance Celebration that will bring our whole school community together.
Students from 1st Grade of Primary School to 2nd Grade of Secondary School will take part in this activity. The students will be organised into four educational cycles, and each cycle will prepare a dance inspired by a different country and its cultural traditions. Therefore, four different countries and four different dances will be represented during the celebration.
On the day of the event, each cycle will perform its dance in front of the whole school. Through music, movement and choreography, students will take us on a journey around the world, discovering different cultures, traditions and ways of expressing ourselves through dance.
This activity aims to promote cultural awareness, diversity, inclusion and intercultural understanding, while encouraging teamwork, creativity and participation among students of different ages.
Through this celebration, we want to highlight how cultural diversity enriches our school community and how music and dance can bring us together, helping us discover and appreciate the traditions of other countries.
We are looking forward to celebrating Erasmus Days together and dancing our way around the world! 🌍💃🕺
