Erasmus Days at IES Karlstad – Discover, Share and Connect!

Erasmus Days 2026 at IES Karlstad – Discover, Share and Connect!

During Erasmus Days 2026, IES Karlstad will celebrate European diversity, cultural exchange and international cooperation through a series of fun and interactive activities organised during students’ breaks.
Students will be invited to explore Europe, share their ideas and learn from real international experiences.

Our Activities
1. European Quiz Walk
Students will follow a quiz trail around the school, answering multiple-choice questions about European countries, languages, traditions, culture and Erasmus+. This activity will encourage students to discover interesting facts about Europe while having fun.

2. Discover Europe Through Traditional Dances
Students will have the opportunity to watch and dance traditional dances from different European countries. Through music and dance, they will discover the richness of Europe’s cultural heritage and explore similarities and differences between traditions.

3. Erasmus+ Experiences: Students Inspiring Students
Students who have participated in Erasmus+ projects will share their personal experiences with their peers.

4. Interactive Reflection Posters: Your Voice Matters!
Throughout the school, posters featuring open-ended questions about Europe, cultural diversity, international cooperation and opportunities abroad will invite students to share their thoughts, opinions and personal reflections.
Students will be encouraged to write their answers directly on the posters, creating a collective space for exchanging ideas and discovering different perspectives.
