Erasmus Day – Connecting Experiences, Inspiring Futures

Erasmus Day is an information, networking, career-orientation and workshop event organized by Győri SZC Hild Építőipari Technikum. The main aim is to bring together students who participated in Erasmus+ projects in Leipzig in previous years with this year’s participants and interested students from local primary schools.

During the event, students will have the opportunity to learn more about Erasmus+ mobility projects, international opportunities and the benefits of participating in European projects. Former and current Erasmus participants will share their experiences and present project results, including a 3D architectural model.

The second part of the event will focus on an interactive workshop called “Dream Home of the Year – Architecture Challenge”. Mixed groups of secondary and primary school students will work together as “star architectural firms” and design a dream home for a fictional client. Through this creative task, participants will be introduced to basic architectural concepts while developing their creativity, teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills.

The event combines information sharing, peer learning, intercultural experiences, career orientation and hands-on learning, while highlighting the opportunities and benefits that Erasmus+ projects offer to both students and the school community.
