Erasmus+ as a Path to New Contacts and Local Opportunities

DOBŠANÉ, z.s. are organising a public meeting about the Erasmus+ programme and the project “Education of the Members of the Dobšané Association – Drawing on Local Resources for the Future”. We will present the experience gained during our mobilities in Spain and France in autumn 2025 and spring 2026. We visited olive and lemon growers, goat and Iberian pig breeders, producers of goat cheese, meat products, confectionery and other local producers. We brought back many ideas and practical insights for the future activities of our association.

We will show how Erasmus+ helped a small rural association gain new contacts, learn about international approaches to local production, and transfer this experience into work with the public in our region. The event will include a presentation of the mobilities, participants’ stories, photographs, examples of project outputs and a discussion on how local resources, local production and international experience can support community life and regional development.

The meeting is open to members of the association, residents of Dobšice, local producers, representatives of municipalities, associations and the wider public. Together, we will look back at our experience from Spain and France and also present plans that build on the project.
