“Erasmus+ – from Tenerife to Porto – ideas that came to life in our kindergarten”

For “Erasmus Days” 2026, Edelweiss Kindergarten (Pleven) is organizing a series of events titled “From Tenerife to Porto – Ideas That Came to Life in Our Kindergarten.” Inspired by our teachers’ observations at European educational institutions, the children will learn through free choice, collaborative sensory and educational games, small responsibilities, and nature exploration. Through an outdoor gallery, we will share with parents and colleagues how the experience gained from Erasmus+ mobility initiatives is integrated into the kindergarten’s daily life. Additionally, a photo gallery showcasing these activities and mobility experiences will be accessible to all parents via a QR code on the event poster.
The kindergarten’s three Erasmus+ projects share a common theme: ranging from modern preschool education, inclusion, and environmental education to sensory, project-based, and digital learning. The activities are inspired by experiences from international mobility visits:

🇪🇸 Málaga – Inclusion, diversity, and environmental education.
🇮🇹 Florence – Project-based learning to support active child development.
🇵🇹 Porto – Observation of pedagogical practices, sensory activities, collaboration, and ICT.
