Coordinated by the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education alongside district directorates (including Başakşehir, Çatalca, Silivri, Avcılar, Büyükçekmece, Esenyurt, and Beylikdüzü), this event brings together international learning experiences and Erasmus+ journeys.
Çatalca Science and Art Center – Visitor Workshop Highlights:
Visitors can engage in interactive Erasmus tables, cultural discoveries, and a hands-on “Match the Flags with the Country Names” workshop designed to test and expand geographical and cultural knowledge of European countries and partners.
Info about the students: The participants are high school students currently in the 9th and 10th grades. They are enrolled in the BİLSEM – Science and Art Center programme in Türkiye, a specialized supplementary education system for students identified as gifted and talented. These students follow an enriched and differentiated curriculum that emphasizes project-based learning, interdisciplinary studies and advanced problem-solving beyond the standard national curriculum. The students possess an Intermediate (B1) level of English proficiency according to the CEFR framework. The group is characterized by high cognitive ability and advanced IQ levels.
