Erasmus Days is a one-day event aimed at introducing high school students to the Erasmus+ programme through the experiences of students who have taken part in international mobility.
The programme consists of a series of interactive workshops led by international students studying at the Faculty of Education, Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem, together with local students. Each workshop presents a different country, giving participants the opportunity to learn about its culture, traditions, language, education system, and student life in an engaging and informal way.
Alongside presenting their home countries, the students share their own Erasmus+ experiences, talk about what it is like to study abroad, and answer questions from the participants. The workshops include interactive activities, discussions, games, and quizzes that encourage active participation and help students gain a better understanding of different cultures.
The main goal of the event is to raise awareness of the opportunities offered by Erasmus+, encourage young people to consider studying or training abroad in the future, and promote intercultural understanding. At the same time, the event creates a space for collaboration between local and international students and strengthens the international community at the faculty.
