Discover Europe: Languages and Cultures – ErasmusDays 2026

Our school will organise an interactive workshop to celebrate ErasmusDays 2026 and promote European cultural diversity, multilingualism and international cooperation in education.

During the activity, primary school students will explore different European countries, discover their flags and cultural traditions, and learn basic greetings in different languages. They will work collaboratively to prepare colourful posters and present their findings in simple English.

The workshop aims to develop students’ intercultural awareness, communication skills, creativity and respect for cultural diversity. It will also encourage students to see language learning as a way to connect with people from different countries and cultures.

Through this activity, our school aims to promote the values of Erasmus+, encourage curiosity about Europe and create a positive learning environment based on cooperation, inclusion and mutual understanding.

Target group: Primary school students and teachers.

Expected outcomes: Increased cultural awareness, improved language-learning motivation, collaborative learning skills and greater interest in European educational opportunities.
