Discover Erasmus+ Day – Opening Doors to Europe

Discover Erasmus+ Day will launch the Erasmus Days 2026 activities at Trabzon Social Sciences High School. The event aims to increase students’ awareness of the Erasmus+ programme, international education opportunities, intercultural learning and the importance of foreign languages. A permanent Erasmus+ and International Projects Corner will be established at the school, including information about Erasmus+, European cooperation, language learning, future skills and possible international project ideas. Students will also deliver short presentations introducing Erasmus+, Erasmus Days, intercultural learning and the skills young people need for the future. At the beginning of the event, an Erasmus+ Awareness Pre-Survey will be conducted to measure students’ existing knowledge and attitudes towards international projects. The same survey will be repeated at the end of Erasmus Days to evaluate the impact of the activities. The main target group is upper secondary school students aged approximately 14–18, together with teachers and school staff. Through this activity, we aim to create a stronger Erasmus+ culture within our school and encourage students to become more interested in international cooperation, language learning and future Erasmus+ opportunities.
