Erasmus Day at our Spojená škola will be about more than just travel. It will focus on experiences that shift our worldview, the people we meet, the ideas we bring home, and the changes we can make ourselves.
The morning program will take place across both school buildings. In the Dominika Tatarku building, students from the four-year grammar school and the *sexta* class will participate in a joint program featuring a competition designed to test their knowledge, creativity, and teamwork, while also encouraging them to view Europe from a fresh perspective.
In the Mládeže building, Erasmus Day activities will be tailored to specific age groups. Through a group activity, 8th-grade students will explore environmental issues and the fight against racism. Students in the second year of the bilingual section will hear authentic stories from classmates who completed long-term mobility stays abroad, discovering the many benefits of living in another country for several months. Meanwhile, the *kvarta* class will engage in a group activity exploring history, technology, and robotics, while also reflecting on how major cities approach environmental protection.
The afternoon will be dedicated to teachers. “Erasmus Coffee” will provide a space for informal gatherings, sharing experiences, and finding inspiration. Teachers who participated in job shadowing or training courses abroad during the previous school year will present their experiences, as well as the new insights and ideas they have brought back to the school. Erasmus Day thus brings together students and teachers, demonstrating that Erasmus+ is about more than just mobility. It is an opportunity to explore, connect people, and transform the way we perceive ourselves, Europe, and the world around us.
