Dimotiko Scholeio Astromeriti is celebrating Erasmus Days by sharing the launch of its new Erasmus+ KA122 project, “Digital Connections: Enhancing Digital Skills and Competences for Inclusion and Innovation.” During this event, students, teachers, and parents will discover the goals of the project, which focuses on strengthening teachers’ digital competences to create more engaging and inclusive learning experiences for all students, including migrant learners and children with additional learning needs.
The event will include a short presentation on the project’s objectives, the countries and schools our staff will visit for training and job-shadowing (including Greece, Spain, and Italy), and how these experiences will benefit our whole school community. Visitors will also get a glimpse of the digital tools and inclusive teaching practices our school plans to adopt, along with information about our partnership with the EU stakeholders.
Through interactive displays, a short video, and hands-on digital activities, the school aims to promote awareness of the Erasmus+ Programme and highlight how European mobility opportunities support digital literacy, inclusion, and innovation in primary education.
