Different but Together – Celebrating Inclusion

Different but Together – Celebrating Inclusion is an Erasmus Days activity dedicated to inclusion and diversity, inspired by the Erasmus+ mobility experience of five members of our kindergarten staff, who participated in a mobility focused on inclusive education.
During the event, children and staff will be invited to come to kindergarten wearing different-coloured socks or slippers. The activity will use this simple and playful symbol to help children understand that being different is natural and valuable, while everyone can belong to the same group and be treated with respect.
Through discussions, games and age-appropriate activities, we will explore ideas such as diversity, acceptance, friendship, empathy and belonging. The activity will also provide an opportunity for the participating staff members to share with colleagues, children and the kindergarten community some of the ideas and practices discovered during their Erasmus+ mobility.
Our message is simple: We may be different, but we belong together.
