“Connecting People, Inspiring Futures”

As part of the Erasmus+ Days celebrations, Colegiul Tehnologic „Spiru Haret” will organise a dissemination and awareness-raising event entitled “Connecting People, Inspiring Futures”. The event will bring together students and teachers who participated in Erasmus+ mobility activities during the previous year and students from grades VII–XI who are interested in discovering more about the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ programme.

The event will take place in the Festivity Hall and will be organised in two one-hour sessions, adapted to the age of the participating students.

Event 1 – Erasmus+ Experiences: Grades VII–VIII

During the first session, students from grades VII and VIII will have the opportunity to discover what an Erasmus+ mobility looks like from the perspective of their older peers and teachers.

Participants in previous Erasmus+ mobilities will share their experiences through PowerPoint and Canva presentations, photographs and short videos. They will talk about the countries and schools they visited, the learning activities they took part in, the people they met, the cultural experiences they had and the skills they developed.

The presentations will focus not only on the activities carried out during the mobilities, but also on the personal impact of the Erasmus+ experience: becoming more confident, communicating in a foreign language, working with students from other cultures, becoming more independent and discovering new perspectives.

Students will also have the opportunity to view an Erasmus+ exhibition, where posters presenting the results of the school’s mobility activities will be displayed. The posters will include photographs, descriptions of activities, learning outcomes and examples of project results.

The session will conclude with an interactive moment in which students will be invited to share their expectations and ideas about participating in a future Erasmus+ mobility.

Event 2 – Erasmus+ Experiences: Grades IX–XI

The second session will be addressed to students from grades IX, X and XI and will provide a broader perspective on the educational, personal and intercultural value of Erasmus+ mobility.

Former participants will present their mobility experiences using digital presentations, videos and visual materials. They will describe their experiences before, during and after the mobility, highlighting how Erasmus+ contributed to their personal development, communication skills, digital competences, intercultural awareness and confidence.

Students will discover examples of learning activities, workshops, cultural visits, collaborative projects and interactions with European peers carried out during Erasmus+ mobilities.

A selection of short videos and photographs will illustrate memorable moments from the mobilities and will provide an authentic insight into the Erasmus+ experience.

The participants will also have the opportunity to explore the Erasmus+ Mobility Gallery, consisting of posters created to disseminate the activities and results of each mobility project.

The session will end with a reflection activity in which students will be encouraged to identify what they would like to learn, discover or experience through a future Erasmus+ mobility.

Erasmus+ Exhibition

Throughout the event, the Festivity Hall will host an exhibition of posters presenting the results of the school’s Erasmus+ mobility activities. The exhibition will showcase the different destinations, partner schools, activities, and personal opinions of the participants.
