Competence Diary: Digital Monitoring and Assessment of Work-Based Learning in VET

The event will present the development of the Competence Diary, an innovative tool for monitoring and assessing students’ learning outcomes during work-based learning and dual education. Participants will learn how the initiative evolved from a paper-based diary into a digital application developed through international Erasmus+ cooperation.

The presentation will showcase the experiences gained during the implementation of the KA210-VET project and the ongoing development within the KA220-VET project. Special attention will be given to the involvement of schools, companies and international partners in creating a common framework for monitoring, documenting and evaluating students’ competences.

The event will also explore how digital tools can improve transparency, quality assurance and cooperation between schools and employers, while contributing to the harmonisation of assessment criteria and work-based learning practices across different European countries.
