Community Artwork

As part of Erasmus Days 2026, the non-governmental and educational organisation Learning Seed is organising a public, intercultural and creative event entitled “Community Artwork” in the centre of the city, on the Pedestrian Street of Vasilissis Olgas, Argos, Argolis, Greece, on Tuesday, 13 October 2026, from 17:00 to 20:00.
The event will be organised with the support of the Municipality of Argos-Mycenae, as well as with the valuable contribution of local businesses, organisations and community partners through sponsorships and in-kind support. Their involvement will contribute to the successful implementation of the event, strengthen its connection with the local community and help increase its visibility and outreach.
The activity will bring together international students currently hosted in Argos through Erasmus+ VET mobility programmes, local students, young people, volunteers from our networks and members of the wider community.
At the heart of the event will be the collective creation of a “Community Artwork”: a shared artistic work designed and developed by participants from different cultural and educational backgrounds. Through colours, symbols, words,music and creative expression, the mural will reflect the values that lie at the heart of Erasmus+: cooperation, inclusion, diversity, intercultural dialogue, active citizenship and European identity.
The aim of the activity is to transform a public space in Argos into a meeting point for people, cultures and generations. Participants will not simply attend the event, but will actively contribute to a common creative process, exchange ideas, share experiences and create something together that will remain as a visible symbol of connection and collaboration.
The event will also offer local residents and young people the opportunity to learn more about Erasmus+, discover mobility and learning opportunities, and hear first-hand experiences from international participants who are currently living and studying in the area.
Through the collaboration of Learning Seed, the Municipality of Argos-Mycenae and local community supporters, the event aims to create a strong local impact, encourage community participation and give greater visibility to the values and opportunities of Erasmus+.
