One Europe, Many Languages: Every Word Is a Bridge.
As part of the Erasmus Days, our school will organise a special activity to celebrate European diversity, multilingualism and the value of learning languages.
The activity will take place in the school playground, where students and teachers will gather around a European flag and a colourful banner displaying different languages spoken across Europe. The banner, entitled “One Europe, Many Languages: Every Word Is a Bridge”, will showcase expressions and messages in different European languages, highlighting how languages can connect people and cultures.
We will also organise a small Erasmus-themed Escape Game, where students will have to solve clues, challenges and language-based puzzles related to Europe, Erasmus+ and European countries. This activity will encourage teamwork, communication, creativity and curiosity about other cultures.
In addition, students will participate in the creation of a short promotional video for the Erasmus Days. The video will introduce our school, explain what Erasmus+ means to us and showcase the linguistic and cultural diversity within our school community. Students will be encouraged to use different languages spoken or studied at school, demonstrating that our school is a small reflection of the multilingual Europe we are part of.
Through these activities, we aim to create a visible, inclusive and engaging celebration of Erasmus+, encouraging our students to appreciate languages as tools for communication, understanding and connection between people.
