Every minute, 1 million plastic bottles are purchased globally, with over 80% ending up in landfills or oceans. Project “Bottle to Bloom” turns single-use plastic waste into an automated, self-watering planter system. By utilizing capillary action, this low-cost upcycling project reduces domestic waste while creating an effortless indoor garden requiring zero electricity.
