Become a Researcher: From Microorganisms to Biologics

An invited expert from Richter BioLogics will introduce students from the Pharmaceutical Technician programme from across Slovenia to the fascinating world of biotechnology and biopharmaceutical research. The lecture will explore how microorganisms are used to produce biologics, from research and process development to manufacturing and quality control. Students will learn how biology, chemistry and laboratory techniques come together in the development of modern medicines and gain insight into the skills, challenges and career opportunities in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.
